2. Services Provided

M.R.S. specializes in assisting individuals and families with Medi-Cal eligibility, application processing, and appeals. Our services include:

M.R.S. does not provide legal services and is not a law firm. We do not offer medical, financial, or legal advice beyond the scope of Medi-Cal application assistance.

3. Client Responsibilities

By using M.R.S. services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information necessary for the Medi-Cal application process.
  • Submit all requested documentation in a timely manner to avoid processing delays.
  • Acknowledge that Medi-Cal approval is subject to California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) regulations and that M.R.S. cannot guarantee approval if all requirements are not met.
  • Understand that Medi-Cal laws and regulations are subject to change, and M.R.S. will provide services based on current rules at the time of consultation.

4. Fees and Payments

  • M.R.S. charges a $95 consultation fee, which is non-refundable.
  • Additional services may be billed at a flat rate or a percentage of recovery, depending on the agreement.
  • Payments must be made in full before services are rendered unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
  • Failure to pay for services may result in termination of assistance.

5. No Guarantee of Outcome

M.R.S. provides expert guidance and assistance and confidently guarantee an approval for Medi-Cal in our Service Agreement. The guarantee’s contractual enforceability depends entirely on client’s compliance with M.R.S. documentation requests, and D.H.S. time allowance requirements, and the accuracy of provided information regarding the families disclosure of eligibility criteria.

M.R.S. is not responsible for denials, delays, or disputes that arise from:

  • False or misleading information provided by the client.
  • Changes in Medi-Cal laws or county-specific policies.
  • Government processing errors outside of our control.

6. Confidentiality & Privacy

M.R.S. respects your privacy and confidentiality. We do not sell or share personal information with third parties, except as required to complete Medi-Cal applications or as mandated by law.

Clients acknowledge that email and digital communication are not always secure and assume the risks associated with electronic correspondence.

7. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Consultation fees are non-refundable.
  • If a client wishes to cancel an ongoing service agreement, a refund may be issued only if work has not yet commenced.
  • Requests for cancellations or refunds must be made in writing via email at services@needmedi-cal.com.

8. Limitation of Liability

M.R.S. and its representatives are not liable for:

  • Any loss of benefits due to misinformation provided by the client.
  • Delays, denials, or disputes related to Medi-Cal eligibility decisions.
  • Financial losses incurred due to Medi-Cal recovery efforts or estate claims.

In no event shall M.R.S. be responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to the use of our services.

9. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to resolve matters amicably. If resolution is not reached, disputes shall be handled through mediation or arbitration in the State of California, in accordance with applicable laws.

10. Changes to Terms of Service

M.R.S. reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. It is the client’s responsibility to review these terms periodically.
